Victory Is Sweet!!

The kids all played there Basketball games yesterday and won! Who would think you could get so excited about 4-5 & 6 year olds running up and down the court just grinning from ear to ear. I am not a sap but I swear when my little Jay ran out after they called his name and slapped the coached hand tears came to my eyes. It is just soo cute. Alexis (she has changed it, and continues to scold me for calling her Lexi) looks so grown up out there she looks like the Jolly Green Giant compared to the other kids on her team. She gets taller and skinner everyday. She is so funny because she starts every sport the same way in the begining she is quiet and shy she gets embarrased easily and then boom she warms and and it's a diffrent little girl. I guess she is a mixture of James and I because I was so shy I made myself sick at the thought of having to speak in front of people and anyone who has ever been in the same county as James knows you can't shut him up :)

The boys went well they won by like 22 points which I'm glad they won but I like when the game is closer it is more exciting that way. Jamie is so much better this year and getting to play alot more, unfortunatly Blake's basketball attitude from last year seems to have rubbed off he got a technical foul for slamming the ball down after a penalty was called on him. To tell the truth I like to see that side of him sometimes, he is cute when he's mad. Blake played an awesome game they only scored 8 points because everytime they touched the ball he stole it from them! It was great but the coach had him dribble down and pass it to another player who would shoot it, because Blake is known as a "ball hog". This did not make him happy he only had 2 points, but I tried to explain over and over that it doesn't matter how many points you have as long as you assist in the win. But to no avail. I will post some pics from the game and from the church play the little ones were in - Jay was a Cow and Alexis was an Angel.
